Offlinemix
mix audio files not in realtime
- Offlinemix (C) 2007 Gianni Ciolli ciolli@math.unifi.it.
- This software mixes together several mono or stereo audio
files, with dynamic volume and pan/balance specification. All files
must have the same sample rate; each file can have its own offset,
gain, and sample depth (16, 24 or 32 bit). Output samples can be
either 16, 24 or 32 bits.
- This software was written because existing free software
programs do not carry out the task of mixing several audio files
into a stereo audio file with a precise volume and pan/balance
control. Indeed, they are either too simple (sox, which cannot
control envelopes) or too complex (ecasound, which is designed for
real-time operation).
- The core is written in C; the pre-processor will :-) be
written in Scheme.
- Offlinemix is free
software; the author has released it under the GNU GPL version 2
license.
